I had never availed of furniture removal services when I rang Doherty’s Removals in April 2019. From the beginning the lady who handled my phone enquiry left me in no doubt that things would be handled efficiently & competently & with no palaver should I decide to enlist their services. Mine was a move from Dublin to Sligo & so I was keen that it would run smoothly. So I called her back & made the arrangements. I was so glad I did. The move was a dream. The lads who called to pick up my furniture were friendly & efficient & followed on from my initial phonecall..approachable & obliging in whatever way they could. Timing was as indicated & this dependability would become the hallmark of my experience. As I needed some items put into storage I also availed of their storage facility in Sligo. By now I was completely confident that this too would be effortless & it was. It is affordable & when my remaining stuff was delivered some time later, it came back to me in the same condition I left it in. Recently in Autumn 2020 I made the final move to my permanent home & of course was glad to depend on what I had come to know as the most dependable service possible. To the fine detail, the lads arrived punctually & then cheerfully went about the job entrusted to them. It went off without a hitch..but at this point I knew enough to know it would. One piece of advice, do listen to any advice offered regarding the logistics of your requirements, these people know what they are about! I’m glad I did!
